Kindergarten- 5th grade classes all had a special guest from the University of Florida/4H program! Students got hands on experience learning the different parts of an egg and how they develop over 21 days. Experiences like this is what makes Agriculture at Citrus Elementary the place to Bee!

Our 4th grade students in Mrs. Demmy’s Science classes explored the Law of Conservation of Mass using Play-Doh, pan balances, and gram weights! Students enjoyed this hands-on opportunity to investigate how matter can change while its total mass stays the same.

🌱🦆 Agriculture in Action at Citrus! 🦆🌱 Our students had a wonderful time visiting Patsy and the ducks as part of our growing agriculture program! Hands-on experiences like these give our students the opportunity to learn about animal care, responsibility, and agriculture firsthand.
